FAQs

How can the editor edit scientific documents when he/she is not qualified?

All academic research documents use grammar and are based on reason or logic; these are the two areas we tackle in any document. However, if you are looking for someone to check your mathematical formulae, we are probably not the right ones for you.

Turnaround Time

How long does it take to turn around a document?

For a document that has up to 100 pages, we need approximately a week.
For a document that has up to 200 pages, we need approximately 10 days.
For a document that has more than 200 pages, we may need more than 2 weeks.

What if I am pressed for time?

Rush jobs are accommodated, but at a higher fee. Contact us to discuss how we can assist you.

Fees and Payment

How much will it cost?

We don't work to a fee grid because each document has its own requirements and cannot be grouped with every other document of similar length. For a sense of what it might cost, however, read our page on Fees. For a specific quote, send us your document.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made either by credit card through our paypal account, or via a direct bank transfer. For details on payment, read our page on Payments.

Electronic or Manual Editing?

We prefer the entire exchange to be electronic. If, however, you use a software other than Microsoft Word to create your document, you will need to either email us a PDF of the document, or post a hard copy. We will mark up these changes on paper and either post it back to you or send you scanned images of the markup.

Changes to the Document

If the document is edited electronically, will "track changes" be turned on?

Unquestionably, yes.

What if I don't agree with or like the changes made by the editor?

Amendments to the document are an editor's suggestions for change. To accept these suggestions or not is eventually your decision.

What if I don't understand the changes made by the editor or questions posed in the comments?

Get in touch with us. We're here to help.
